About the book
The Nigerian Youth are the most gifted, the most irrepressible, the most committed, and the most diligent people on the planet. It would be difficult to convince me otherwise. To cut a long story short, no one can convince me otherwise.
Unfortunately, The Nigerian youth is blamed for everything and takes the fall for everything. There seems to be an unwritten Nigerian policy that says, “Blame Everything On The Youth”. The Nigerian youth is like the biblical prophet without honour in his hometown.
The government and the older generation see and treat the youth as noise in the background, a distraction that should be given as little attention and resources as possible. Yet they cannot do anything without the youth. They use the youth for all they do, the good, the bad and the ugly. They build careers, wealth, empires, fiefdoms, power, reputations, names on the back , sweat and blood of the youth. Then they turn around and call them “lazy.” But it was not always so. Something went wrong down the line.
The pages of this book trace what went wrong, and it recommends how the young, the old and the government can regain their steps and work together to change the current state of things and make our beloved country a country we can be proud about once more. And I hope it will.
There is something for everyone.

What Readers Are Saying
“Nigeria has made progress, but there is still much work to be done. This book keeps the focus exactly where it belongs: on the Nigerian youth. Only by confronting these challenges head-on can Nigeria truly realise its potential.”
